Griffon Singleton is a Portland, Oregon based audio engineer, A/V tech, and musician. Griffon began his musical career at Northern Arizona University in 2021, studying choral education for one year, singing in Shrine of the Ages Choir as a freshman baritone. He found himself editing the choir's live recordings and ultimately transferring to Portland State University. He now holds a bachelor of arts in Sonic Arts in Music Production from Portland State University, after leading the School of Music's AV team for three years. Currently, he is serving the audio-visual and graphic design needs for the Portland First United Methodist Church, combining his love for music and knowledge of technology into live and recorded sound environments. He has worked directly with hundreds of musicians, including small & large ensembles, solo artists, rock bands, jazz combos, funk/fusion combos, choirs, songwriters and composers, opera singers, theater productions, college faculty and student recitals, church services, forums, conferences, and other events. From 2024-2025, he toured with Monmouth-based acid jazz band Pocket Dimension, serving as the keyboard and synth player. From touring around the state of Oregon, with venues in Independence, Monmouth, Dallas, Salem, Portland, Eugene, Lincoln City, Pacific City, and Sisters, to performing in several college jazz combos, his experience playing piano, keyboard, synths, electric bass, guitar, and drums has solidified a foundation for playing and recording music, exploring new sounds that bridge genres together. His combined musicianship and technical ability provides great experiences not only for the audience, but also for the performers.
